Even though my school hasn’t officially declared our holidays for this summer….I am officially enjoying my unofficial summer vacation!
And the best part? We are leaving to Europe in 3 weeks. Oh yeah. Just 3 weeks.
How cool is that? We are a group consisting of 8 adults and 7 children and I have to keep reminding myself that I’m the oldest child. It is therefore my responsibility to keep the others in control..but everytime I think of it, my heart does a tiny somersault inside(I wonder if that’s even possible). I am obviously going to carry my own little book to note down everything that we do. Gosh, its driving me mad! Especially since I’ve never been to all the places we are going to visit(well, I’ve been to Switzerland…but never to any of the other places.)
I know its weird but the thing I’m most looking forward to is seeing the Big Ben. I mean, of course I’m excited about the Eiffel Tower and the Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square and all those other amazing places…but Big Ben has always been on top. Dont get me wrong, I don’t have some weird obsession with clocks or anything. Its my curiosity that drives this thirst to see the Big Ben. How big is it up front? Why is it the Big BEN? Who is Ben? Did he like clocks? There is only one way to find out! (no, I wasnt talking about google.)
To go there and find out!I have always been extremely fond of travelling, exploring and learning about new places. In fact, you may call it just a fantasy but my best friends and I have thought of going on a round the world trip somewhere in the future….(I really hope that happens!) Apart from that, now that the timetable is somewhat settled and the expenses are going to be taken care of in a few days, its shopping time! Actually, I’m not very fond of shopping (even though I’m a teenage girl and all) but the fact that I will be shopping for things to take on the trip to Europe, I really don’t mind at all!
